Kate Brockman of Mesa Community College in Arizona finished second in the women's 5-kilometer race in 18:48.42 at the Manny Bautista Invitational at NTC Park at Liberty Station in San Diego, Calif. Brockman, the top finisher from Arizona, was one of six athletes in the top 25 for Mesa, the top-ranked team nationally in NJCAA Division 2, which prevailed with 60 points.
